His playing is striking in its technical mastery: intricate fingerpicking, percussive rhythms on the fretboard and body, two-hand tapping, harmonica lines and foot percussion \u2013 all supporting a deep, expressive voice. A true virtuoso on stage, he combines raw intensity with genuine humility.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"499\" data-end=\"842\">First recognised in Australia in 2009 as \u201cNational Youth Folk Artist of the Year\u201d, he quickly gained attention at the Byron Bay Bluesfest, sharing stages with artists such as Xavier Rudd, Ben Harper and Bob Dylan.
