James Hersey, a singer-songwriter from Vienna, blends indie pop, folk, and electronic music with rare authenticity. From an early age, he wrote songs and played in bands before launching his solo career in 2010. His talent led him to sign with Milky Chance in 2013 after opening for the band on tour, gaining recognition with his album Clarity.
His rise accelerated in 2015 with a remix of Coming Over, reworked by Kygo and Dillon Francis, which became a global hit and reached the top of the Billboard Dance Chart. His track Miss You, released under the New York-based label Glassnote Records, earned him two gold records in 2017, solidifying his place in the pop scene.
After a musical break, James returned in 2018 with the Innerverse EP. He will now offer a solo acoustic concert at the Lac Souterrain de St-Léonard—an intimate experience where his captivating voice and heartfelt melodies will resonate in a truly unique natural setting.
