Ten years later, The TWO returns to the place where the journey once left its mark. The duo has evolved, shaped by countless stages and miles on the road.
Formed by Yannick Nanette (Mauritius) and Thierry Jaccard (Switzerland), The TWO has performed more than 800 concerts in less than ten years, from the Montreux Jazz Festival to the Montreal International Jazz Festival, sharing stages with artists such as Johnny Hallyday, Ben Harper and Mavis Staples.
With Sadela (2023) — “those two” in Mauritian Creole — the duo broadens its horizons. Rooted in the blues, their music now embraces the island sounds of the Mascarenes, blending sega and maloya with acoustic guitars, organic rhythms and deep, expressive vocals. A warm, cross-cultural sound in constant motion.
Within the mineral setting of the Underground Lake, this Creole blues promises an intense and soulful journey.
